Discreet maisonette flat on an old farm. About 1.5 km to all shopping facilities. Very quiet rural surroundings. This property is suitable for 2 adults and a maximum of 2 children. Please note that the children's beds are in the parents' bedroom. Children and extra bed possible. Cyclists also welcome for 1-2 nights. Your comfortable, approx. 52 sqm. large holiday flat in maisonette style (2 levels) is situated in an absolutely quiet location. It is located in an outbuilding on our farm and has its own entrance. On the ground floor is the living room with kitchenette and bathroom with shower, WC and washing machine. The bedroom is on the upper floor. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could wish for in a holiday kitchen. E.g. oven with four ring hob, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle and fridge. The living room with kitchenette and dining area offers a comfortable settee and shelves with numerous books, which can also be added from your personal collection if desired, as well as board games, satellite TV and radio with CD player. In front of the living room there is an enclosed terrace for your exclusive use. Of course you are free to use the whole garden. The Ammerland cycle routes offer an unforgettable experience during the rhododendron blossom in May - June. The village of Wiefelstede lies between the towns of Oldenburg and Varel and the municipalities of Bad Zwischenahn and Rastede. Here, 14,000 inhabitants live in an idyllic landscape of hedgerows between tree nurseries, pastures and numerous small farming communities. With around 800 hectares of woodland, Wiefelstede is the most densely wooded municipality in the district of Ammerland. Wiefelstede, with its almost 5000 inhabitants, is the centre of the municipality. In 2007, the village celebrated the 950th anniversary of its church, which is the oldest church in the district. Wiefelstede has been honoured several times in the past with the "Beautiful Village" award. Wiefelstede has been a "state-recognised resort" since August 1993. Our former farm with its 100-year-old farmhouse is located in the Dingsfelde district, surrounded by pastures, fields and hedgerows, ensuring a pleasant stay. The Mansholt state forest is within walking distance. The nearest supermarket is approx. 1000m away. To the village centre with all shops, restaurants, tennis courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pool etc. another 500m. The nearest motorway access, A29, is about 3 km away and the nearest train station is about 4 km away.
