Detailed information
The newly renovated semi-detached house is located in a quiet residential area in the beautiful monastery town of Walkenried. Hiking is possible almost from the front door and a bathing lake for people and animals is just 800 metres away. Restaurants, doctors, banks, butchers, bakers and much more are all within walking distance.
The house is completely fenced in with a 1.25m high fence. A covered terrace invites you to relax. There are 3 - 4 parking spaces available
The house has been completely gutted and renovated.
The house has enough space for up to 8 people to enjoy a relaxing holiday.
On the ground floor there is a spacious entrance area with a small office corner - from there you can access the small wellness area with an infrared sauna.
An open wooden staircase takes you to the first floor where you will find the spacious living and dining room with a 55-inch SmartTV, the spacious kitchen with Nespresso Vertuo machine, a guest WC with washing machine and a bedroom with 2 single beds.
On the second floor you will find 2 bedrooms with comfortable box-spring beds, one bedroom has a large modern bathroom with a large walk-in shower and bathtub. The second shower room is adjacent to the second bedroom.
The entire house is equipped with underfloor heating.
The Cistercian monastery is known far beyond the borders of the Harz Mountains. A monastery market is held every year in September. From the house it is about 800 metres to the Priorteiche, a forest swimming pool for people and animals.
