At an altitude of 600 meters, St. Andreasberg, located 24 kilometers north of Bad Sachsa, is the highest town in the Harz Mountains. This cozy apartment is located on the ground floor of a small residential unit in a quiet hillside location within the town. This officially recognized health resort, with its healthy mountain air, is part of the national park and nestled amidst wooded mountain slopes. The house is surrounded by lush greenery, inviting you to take hikes through nature. Enjoy the view of the surroundings from the large, covered, south-facing balcony or start your day with breakfast here. We recommend Nordic walking, a visit to the summer toboggan run, or the former "Samson" mine, which boasts the oldest operating toboggan run and an interesting mining museum. In winter, numerous slopes for skiing and tobogganing, chairlifts and drag lifts, and sunny downhill slopes at 850 meters altitude ensure attractive skiing fun. Excursions into the surrounding area are also possible: a ride on the narrow-gauge railway, the Rübeland stalactite caves, Wernigerode, Quedlinburg, and Goslar.
