Detailed information
Our two holiday apartments are on a quiet side street with a view of meadows, but central in Marienhafe at the heart of East Frisia. It is just a few minutes by car to the East Frisian islands. The site is on a residential estate at the end of a cul-de-sac with a view of meadows and fields, but is nevertheless central.
We can offer four bicycles free of charge (children’s bicycles on request). A grill is available in the garden for leisurely summer evenings.
We offer two comfortably furnished apartments of around 60m². It is possible to combine the two apartments for a larger family. This offer is for holiday apartment no. 2. It has a fully-equipped living room-kitchen, two bedrooms for families of up to four people (one double bed and two single beds), a washing machine and dryer for longer stays. Satellite TV and Wi-Fi are provided.
There is a timetable for day trips to Norderney, or you can reach the island on a walk across the tidal flats. Or you could visit the island Borkum, with crossings from Emden. You can enjoy relaxing in nature on the many cycle paths in the area or on walks along the embankments. Marienhafe is in the Brookmerland and is surrounded by green meadows and wonderful nature. Brookmerland offers a range of cycle tours. It is only 5 minutes to the recreational area Tjücher Moortun, a lake for swimming and fishing. If you would like a fishing holiday, this is the right place for you, as the 140 lakes and ponds of the BVO are all around Marienhafe, or you can go mackerel fishing on a boat in the North Sea. We would be happy to provide advice and arrange your guest fishing permit. The Brookmerland is pirate territory. Go on an exploratory tour and follow the trail of the pirate Klaus Störtebeker. The Störtebeker tower is well-known. The North Sea is just a few minutes’ drive away and offers a relaxing holiday. The embankments and beaches invite you to go for walks, or you could visit the leisure pool OceanWave in Norddeich on a windy or rainy day. We recommend a trip to the historical fishing village Greetsiel, or you could visit the harbour town Emden, go on a day trip to Norderney (tidal flats walk, ferry) or one of the other East Frisian islands. A wide range of information material is available.
If you arrive by car, take the A31 to Emden, then the B210 towards Norddeich as far as Georgsheil. From there you take the B72 towards Marienhafe. At the first traffic lights turn left into Marienhafe and then 20 metres further on the right turn into Rosenstrasse. After 30 metres, turn left into Dahlienstrasse and at the end left into Nelkenstrasse to no. 6. There is ample parking space right by the house. If you arrive by train, the Marienhafe train station is only about 700 metres away, ideal for day trips to the islands Norderney or Juist. There is a direct train connection to the ferry in Norddeich.

Payment terms and -periods
After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
