Detailed information
We offer a total of four holiday flats (ground floor, approx. 75 sqm, 1st floor approx. 45 sqm, garden flat approx. 35 sqm and our TinyFlat with approx. 30 sqm floor space and bunk bed) in a detached house in the countryside with approx. 8,000 sqm of fenced-in outdoor area for your four-legged companion. The flats can be rented separately. There are separate entrances! Of course, the whole house or several flats can be rented at the same time. There is a conservatory with a pool table and table football for everyone to use.
The outdoor play area can be accessed directly from each flat, each flat has its own small fenced area - no need to keep your dog on a lead, no stress with unwanted encounters, open the door and let the fun begin!
This flat was completed in April 2023. We have created a little space miracle here. As the ceiling is relatively high, we came up with the idea of building a loft bed under the ceiling. The living room below consists of an open-plan kitchen with a complete kitchenette (with ceramic hob, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, Senseo coffee machine, kettle and coffee machine for filter coffee and toaster, but without a dishwasher...) including a small dining table and a corner couch where you can sit "lümmeln" and watch TV! A small wooden staircase leads to the sleeping area and under the stairs is the WC. There is a real glass shower that can be seen from the kitchen and living area. If you don't like this, you can move the privacy screen so that it is less open. Everything is fitted with non-slip, hard-wearing laminate flooring, naturally with underfloor heating.
This flat also has a small terrace with a table and two chairs for your morning coffee.
The flat is ideal for newlyweds and ideal for one person, preferably with dog(s).
At the end of 2013, the current Sonnenhaus Geestland was in poor condition. But the huge, wildly romantic property was wonderful, and for us as dog lovers the main reason for buying it. Here, dogs can run free on 8000 square metres and sniff, bark, dig, run and romp to their heart's content.
We have completely renovated the building and brought it up to the very latest standards with solar technology, wood pellets, a ventilation system, triple glazing and thermal insulation. It is now a solar house that produces more energy than it needs. Energy revolution realised!
The 8,000 square metre outdoor area is completely fenced in and can be accessed directly from each flat. Each flat has its own small fenced-in area - no leashing, no stress with unwanted encounters, open the door and let the fun begin!
The town of Bad Bederkesa is approx. 2 km away. There are various shops, restaurants, the Moortherme with sauna and brine thermal baths. The historic castle is also worth a visit. The Beerster See lake with its circular hiking trail is also highly recommended for an active holiday with your dog.
In Dorum-Neufeld, approx. 25 km away, there is a dog beach where you can go for long walks - off the lead - in the mudflats at low tide - always a great experience for people and dogs!
Cuxhaven is approx. 40 km away, Bremerhaven approx. 25 km.
The Natureum in Balje, the zoo in Wingst with its wolf enclosure, the Moor Information Centre in Ahlenfalkenberg (to name just a few of the excursion destinations) invite you to make further trips in the immediate vicinity.
The special thing about all our flats is that we do not limit the number of dogs you want to spend your holiday with or the size of your furry friends. We are very dog-friendly and love to watch our four-legged friends digging, romping, running, etc. Maybe you feel the same way - just give it a try!

Payment terms and -periods
After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
