This town is known for its authentic old town with half-timbered buildings. The beautiful surroundings offer a wide range of opportunities for hiking, biking, and motorcycling. And if you're looking to cool off after a busy day, the swimming pool in Korbach is highly recommended. The region is home to the Twistesee, Diemelsee, and Edersee lakes, where all kinds of activities can be enjoyed, including cycling, hiking, motorcycling, water skiing, and swimming, not to mention sightseeing tours and excursions. But a visit to the famous winter sports resorts of Willingen and Winterberg, which offer guaranteed snow for winter sports enthusiasts during the winter months, is also worthwhile.
