These four holiday houses are situated on a 5000m² private site on a south-facing slope by the edge of a forest, between the Rhön, Vogelsberg and Knüll Mountains, with a view into the Fulda Valley.

The 72m² solid bungalows have an identical structure and their interiors are similar. They each provide a living room, two bedrooms, a kitchen, a WC and shower, as well as a hallway with a wardrobe. The 20m² living room consists of a corner sofa that can be converted into a bed for a possible fifth person, a sideboard with satellite TV, a radio and a dining corner. One of the bedrooms is furnished with a double bed and the other with two single beds. There is also an additional child’s bed and highchair. The kitchen is fully-equipped with an electric stove and oven, a microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine, toaster, kettle and hatch through to the dining space in the living room.

The living room opens onto the roofed terrace with garden furniture, a lounger and a grill. The house is surrounded by a big outdoor area that includes a parking space. There is a solar-heated pool (8x5m) for shared use. You can also use a sauna in the communal house for a fee.

It is only about 400 metres to the town centre of Mengshäuser. It is about a kilometre to two big supermarkets in Niederaula and other retail shops and restaurants. During the summer months festivals are held in the abbey ruins at Bad Hersfeld (12km). There are many trip options in the area and it is only about 40km to Bavaria (Unterfranken) and Thüringen.

After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
