Built around 1870 and renovated in 2020, this half-timbered house is just 3 km from Wilhelmshöhe Mountain Park and 7 km from the Grimm World museum.

The booking confirmation/rental agreement serves as proof of travel. An additional invoice can be requested at the time of booking and will be issued after departure.

Rental prices are for a maximum of 5 people.

A security deposit of €100 is due in advance and must be paid with the rental fee. The security deposit will be refunded after departure.

Electricity, water, and heating are included.

Bed linens and towels are included.

There is no tourist tax.

Free parking is available on the street.

The lovingly furnished apartment, a blend of old and new, gives our boarding house a unique character that will delight you during your enchanting stay.

Your holiday apartment is located on the upper floor and features free Wi-Fi. The living area includes a sofa that can be used as an additional bed (140 x 200 cm). Relax in the armchair with a good book.

Start your day refreshed in the charming country-style kitchen, which is fully equipped with high-quality appliances (e.g., a Moccamaster coffee machine).

The first bedroom has a single bed.

The bathroom features a bathtub. Four steps lead to the separate toilet.

Through the bathroom, you'll find the second bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200 cm), a wardrobe, and a cozy reading nook. The timber beams of the half-timbered house give this room a unique ambiance. From the bedroom window, you have a breathtaking view of the North Hessian Uplands.

In the rear of the apartment, the ceiling height is less than approximately 1.80 meters due to the sloping roof.

The "Hänsel Holiday Apartment" is located in the same holiday home but has a separate entrance.

Payment terms and -periods

A deposit equivalent to 30% of the total amount and any cancellation insurance shall be made within 7 days. The second payment shall be made no later than six weeks before departure.

If you pay in two installments, you will receive an email with a reminder to pay the second installment one week before its term expires. If you leave within six weeks, you must make payment in one installment. When leaving within 14 days, you must make payment in one installment via credit card or PayPal.
