The "Hufeisen" wildlife park is 6 km away. Two restaurants serving traditional German cuisine are within walking distance in the village. Pegnitz boasts a very modern, year-round indoor swimming pool, "CabrioSol," which is well worth a visit.

Numerous climbing crags are located in the immediate vicinity, for example in Weidlwang and Hainbronn.
