The holiday home for 28 persons has two bathrooms and ten bedrooms. The holiday home is equipped with a fireplace. In addition there is a garden, a balcony, a billiard, a terrace and a barbecue. You can park your car on a parking lot (indoor). The badroom is equipped with a shower.
The holiday home has a Internet connection (ADSL, ISDN, wireless), a washing machine, a tumble dryer and a freezer.

Detailed information
Our self-catering accommodation is in a quiet location on the edge of the forest. From here you can start your activities, be it hiking on the well-signposted hiking trails, cross-country skiing on the cross-country ski trails that lead right past the house or guided snowshoe hikes and of course alpine skiing on the nearby Feldberg.
Our house offers single, double and multi-bed rooms. The rooms are friendly and brightly furnished, some with shower and WC. On the ground floor there is a well-equipped kitchen with gas cooker and dishwasher as well as a cosy guest room with bar, tiled stove and pool table. Another small lounge with TV and games is located next to the parlour.
Car parking spaces are available directly at the house, as well as a sun terrace and barbecue facilities. There is space for the little ones to play in the meadows around the house.

Recyclable materials such as used glass are to be taken back by the guest or disposed of at the collection points in the village. Residual waste & yellow bag is included in the final cleaning.

Menzenschwand, climatic health resort at the foot of the Feldberg 850 to 1350 m above sea level, 6 km from Schluchsee and St. Blasien, 18 km from Titisee.
A Black Forest village straight out of a picture book: the wind-protected and sunny high valley is surrounded by high, wooded mountains in the middle of a nature and landscape conservation area. Menzenschwand is a state-recognised climatic health resort.
The townscape is characterised by well-preserved Black Forest houses with low-pitched hipped roofs. They merge with nature to form a single entity and give holidaymakers a cosy feeling of peace and relaxation.
Safe and varied hiking trails lead to the Spießhorn and Herzogenhorn mountains and over the Menzenschwander waterfalls to the Feldberg, as well as to St. Blasien and Bernau. The village has several restaurants and a beer garden, a sports shop with ski and bike hire. There is also a beginners' ski lift and several drag lifts as well as a ski jump.
Explore the surrounding area from the Berghof and take a tour to Schluchsee or a detour to the summit of the Feldberg, the highest mountain in the Black Forest. Autumn in particular, with its blaze of colour, is ideal for extensive mountain bike tours, hikes or excursions, e.g. to the Krunkelbachhütte.
Other excursion destinations are: Rothaus brewery tour, Waldhaus brewery tour, cathedral in St. Blasien, bathing paradise Titisee-Neustadt, Schaffhausen and Rhine Falls, Schluchsee and Titisee, Feldberg climbing forest, high ropes course & laser tag Titisee, traditional cuckoo clocks and museums.
Please understand that stag parties and party noise are not welcome here. Experiencing nature and relaxing is what we prioritise.

Payment terms and -periods
After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
