Detailed information

The non-smoking attic apartment is located in a detached house on a hillside (first floor facing the street, second floor facing the garden).

The very bright living/dining area, facing east, south, and west, and the balcony offer sweeping lake views from Romanshorn to Lake Überlingen, and, on clear days with a Föhn wind, a panoramic view stretching from Vorarlberg in Austria across Liechtenstein to the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland.

The balcony, where smoking is also prohibited, is partially shaded. The roof is well insulated; the apartment can be darkened during the day and cross-ventilated in the evening, preventing it from becoming unbearably hot in summer. A parking space is available directly on the property. We also offer free storage in our garage for bicycles upon request.

A travel cot, highchair, and changing table are available upon request. However, I would not primarily recommend this apartment for families with a baby. Due to the hillside location, there are steps to the old town, or you would have to walk along the street with a stroller. With an older child on the sofa bed in the living room, it's quite cramped overall. Because of the balcony and the low-set windows, the apartment is problematic for younger children with a lot of energy anyway.

Payment terms and -periods

A deposit equivalent to 30% of the total amount and any cancellation insurance shall be made within 7 days. The second payment shall be made no later than six weeks before departure.

If you pay in two installments, you will receive an email with a reminder to pay the second installment one week before its term expires. If you leave within six weeks, you must make payment in one installment. When leaving within 14 days, you must make payment in one installment via credit card or PayPal.
