Located on the border of the Dordogne and Lot-et-Garonne, amidst a lush private garden of no less than 16,000m2, Maison Saint-Blaise lies in complete privacy. Dutch owners Sven and Sandra have renovated this authentic house while preserving its charm and typical Périgourdine style. The interior is a mix of modern and rustic styles with frequent use of neutral tones and natural materials that create a warm atmosphere while subtle industrial accents provide a contemporary flair.
On the ground floor, there are three bedrooms each with a private bathroom, a spacious and well-equipped kitchen and a cosy living room with a dining table and cosy seating area overlooking the front garden full of fruit trees. Outside the summer period, you can also rent only this part. On the upper floor - accessible via an external staircase - there is a second kitchen, living room and two bedrooms, ideal for accompanying grandparents or teens who appreciate a little extra privacy.
Maison Saint-Blaise is a real family home with plenty of activities and games for the children. They can scavenge in the private enclosed mini forest, play a game of darts, ping-pong or bocce and have hours of fun in the heated swimming pool while the parents relax on the sun beds or enjoy a good book in the hammocks. In the evening, you can all enjoy a barbecue together at the outdoor dining table.
There is also plenty to do and see nearby, take a look at the nearby bastide villages of Monpazier or Villeréal, explore the castles and farmers' markets nearby or go canoeing on the Dordogne River. Here you will find all the ingredients for a relaxing family stay!
Holiday home for 10-12 people with heated pool in Acquitaine
Maison Saint-Blaise is a charming property set amidst a large private park with a heated pool and plenty of spots in and out of the sun to relax and play. It is a perfect family home and comfortable home base for trips in the area.
Ground floor for 6+1:
Very spacious kitchen with a fireplace and all modern appliances including an American fridge, microwave, oven, gas hob, air fryer, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a separate coffee corner in the kitchen with a Nespresso machine, milk frother, classic coffee maker and kettle.
Large living/dining room with a reading corner, large sideboard, wooden dining table for 12 and a sitting area with smart TV.
Three bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom equipped with a shower, toilet and washbasin (one of the bathrooms has a bathtub/shower). Two bedrooms have a double bed (180x200cm) and one has two single beds that can be put together. One of the rooms has a sofa bed for a child.
First floor for 4+1 (only accessible from outside):

Adjacent is the heated swimming pool (10x5m / 180cm deep) with a sun terrace equipped with loungers and parasols. The pool is open from April to October and can be closed with a cover. There is an outdoor shower (solar-powered).
