Discover the charm and comfort of the Gîte du Forgeron, an entire house that has been open since November 2022 following major renovations. Located in the heart of the picturesque village of Saint-Hippolyte in Alsace, this three-star gîte is open all year round, from April to the end of September and from the end of November to the end of December, for an authentic experience at the foot of the majestic Haut-Koenigsbourg castle.

Inside, this spacious 100 m² gîte, perfect for 6 to 8 people, is spread over two floors and offers a full range of modern facilities for your comfort. It has three bedrooms, a living/dining room with a double sofa bed, a sitting room with TV, two bathrooms (one with walk-in shower), and a fully equipped kitchen with brand new appliances, including washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, coffee machine, and much more.

Outside there is a welcoming terrace where guests can relax and enjoy the village setting. Additional facilities include an enclosed bicycle garage and nearby parking, not to mention little extras such as a cot and high chair for younger guests. Everything is designed to make you feel at home, with a non-smoking environment and respectful policies to ensure everyone's comfort.

The gîte enjoys a privileged location in the heart of Saint-Hippolyte, providing easy access to a variety of local shops including a bakery, butcher's and grocer's. Its strategic position between the Haut-Rhin and Bas-Rhin regions makes the gîte an ideal base for exploring the Alsace Wine Route, enjoying wonderful walks on the routes signposted by the Club Vosgien, or cycling outings on the cycle paths
cycle routes, including the Eurovelo 5, discover the cultural wealth of the surrounding villages, visit fascinating museums and admire splendid châteaux.

Rentals are for a minimum of 4 nights. All bed linen, household linen (3 tea towels) and bathroom linen (bath sheets and towel) are included in the rental price.

After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
