Surrounded by forest, yet just a short walk from shops, restaurants and local amenities, it offers the best of both tranquility and convenience. The Grands Montets gondola is a 2 minute drive or 6 minute walk away, and the Mont-Blanc Express train station in Argentière is also a 6 minute walk from the property.
The surrounding slopes are suitable for intermediate and advanced skiers, with the higher slopes often open until early May. The entire Chamonix valley and its many amenities are easily accessible. In summer, the area becomes a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, with opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, white water rafting, golf, rock climbing, paragliding and horseback riding.
Argentière itself has a variety of excellent restaurants and bars to suit every budget. For those wishing to cook at home, the village has a seasonal Sunday market with fresh local produce. The larger market in Chamonix, held every Saturday morning on the Place du Mont Blanc (just a 12-minute drive away), runs all year round. There is a free shuttle service between Argentière and Chamonix by bus (22 minutes) or train (18 minutes) on the Mont-Blanc Express.
