General

The holiday home for 8 persons has a bathroom and two bedrooms. The holiday home is equipped with a TV. In addition there is a sauna.

The holiday home has a washing machine and a Internet connection (wireless).

Kitchen

The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and a microwave.

Hankamaja-cottage is located in Ihamaniemi, Enonkoski (N 6894360 E 595031), on the clear waters and firm shores of Lake Hankajärvi. It is about 50 km north of Savonlinna and approximately 100 km southwest of Joensuu. Lake Hankajärvi is 30 meters away, with a length of 2.5 km and a width of 0.5 km, featuring a firm, gently sloping sandy-clay bottom. A private rowing boat is available for use.

The main building is a 103 m² log structure completed in 2003. The cabin includes a spacious combined kitchen/living room with a fireplace and baking oven. There are two bedrooms, each with a double bed and a single bed; one bedroom also includes a crib. The re is also a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom with a toilet and shower. From the large covered terrace, you can enjoy stunning lake views. The main building is equipped with an air-source heat pump, a 65-inch flat-screen TV, and Wi-Fi.

On the lakeshore, there is a separate lakeside sauna building (36 m²), renovated in 2021 (originally built in 1972). The sauna includes a separate dressing room, a wood-heated stove, a water-heating cauldron, and underfloor heating. In summer, the sauna has running cold water, while in winter, water is carried from the lake. The sauna building's living area features a dining set, a sofa bed, a single bed, a kitchenette, a wood-burning stove, electric heaters, and an air-source heat pump.

The yard also includes a spacious, electrified summer kitchen equipped with a grill shelter, a griddle pan, a wood stove, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a dining table with chairs.

Pets are welcome to Hankamaja. The yard has four dog kennels with shelters.

For leisure activities, there is a frisbee golf basket, a Mölkky game, and a dartboard, along with a rowing boat and a fish trap. The cabin is also equipped with a hairdryer.

Additional services can be ordered at an extra cost through a partner company, including catering services, a hot tub trailer, and an Indian canoe (for more information, contact the property owner).

Payment terms and -periods

After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
