80 km west of Tampere, Lake Karhijärvi 15 m (length 12 km, width 4 km), with a shallow, gently deepening sandy bottom at the shore, mud at greater depths, sturdy pier, private rowing boat and canoe.
A modern log-paneled villa built in 2016, featuring a spacious combined kitchen/living room (sofa bed), two bedrooms each with 2 beds, and one bedroom with 1 bed and a sofa bed for two. Bathroom with 2 showers, sauna room with lake views (wood-burning stove), separate toilet. Extensive partially covered terrace areas.
The property is available for couples, families, and others seeking a peaceful holiday. It is not rented to groups composed of individuals under 25 years old.
The villa has underfloor heating (geothermal) and mechanical ventilation. Good pathways to the lakeshore.
There is also an old lakeside sauna on the property, available for use (wood-burning stove and cauldron, dressing room, water carried in).
A hot tub is available for rent from the owner, €150 per booking, payable on site. Note: The hot tub is not available during freezing temperatures. Please inquire about availability from the owner in advance.
A cot and high chair are available free of charge upon request.
Electric car charging available; 11 kW charger (Type 2) with plug. Payment on site according to the amount indicated by the charger (€0.20 / kWh) in cash, via MobilePay, or bank transfer.

Payment terms and -periods
After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
