Welcome to the new and well-equipped Lakeside Villa holiday home, situated in a prime location on the peaceful shores of Lake Lautiainen, at the northern end of Lake Pielinen, close to the amenities of Nurmes.

Located 127 km north of Joensuu, 125 km east of Kuopio, and just 2 km from the services of Nurmes. The lakeshore is only 10 meters away, featuring a gently deepening sandy beach, a private shore, a boat, and a pier with sun loungers.

This laminated log cabin, completed in 2024, includes a combined kitchen/living room, a bedroom with a double bed, and a loft with 4 beds and a remote work station with scenic views. This high-quality, eco-friendly log holiday home offers modern comfort with central heating.

The wood-heated sauna features large panoramic windows with stunning lake views. There is a bathroom/utility room, a separate toilet, and a large terrace on three sides of the house, equipped with garden furniture and a gas grill in the summer. Broadband internet connection and a TV with a Soundbar audio system are available. There is an electric car charging option in the carport for an additional fee.

Enjoy the warmth of the fireplace or relax on the terrace while taking in the magnificent lake views. Thanks to its excellent location, you can easily cycle for an ice cream or take the boat to the center of Nurmes!

A boat with an outboard motor, a canoe, and stand-up paddleboards are included in the rental. Fishing equipment includes rods, ice fishing rods, and an auger. Bicycles are available for guests during the summer. There are books and board games for both children and adults, as well as toys for children. The city ski track is 500 meters away. The owner also maintains an ice track starting directly from the cabin's yard, open depending on weather conditions. A snowmobile route runs on the ice about 200 meters from the cabin's shore.

Please note: In Eastern Finland, water levels in the lakes have been exceptionally low due to two years of drought, which affects recreational use. The piers are high, and there is very little water at swimming spots. This also applies to Lakeside Villa.

Payment terms and -periods

After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
