This charming lodge, located in the serene Hampshire village of Soberton, offers a peaceful retreat set within five acres of beautiful countryside. The single-story accommodation features a spacious bedroom with a luxurious king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom equipped with a walk-in shower. The open-plan living area includes a cozy lounge with a Freeview TV and a dining space, ideal for enjoying meals together. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, including an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher, making it perfect for a self-catered stay. Private parking for two cars is available, along with a bike store for those wishing to explore the area by bicycle.

South Downs Lodge provides a great base for exploring nearby attractions. Just a short drive away, you can visit historic Winchester, with highlights such as Winchester Cathedral, King Arthur’s Round Table, and Jane Austen’s House. The charming cobbled streets of Winchester are lined with boutique shops, cafes, and restaurants, and the city hosts a variety of cultural events throughout the year, including jazz festivals and outdoor cinema. For beach lovers, Portsmouth and its coastal areas are easily accessible.

The lodge also features a front garden and a small step in the garden for added charm. Guests can enjoy horse riding and trekking experiences at the South Downs Trekking and Riding School, which is located on the property. Although there are no pets allowed, the tranquil environment and proximity to local pubs, such as The White Lion, provide a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.

Payment terms and -periods

A deposit equivalent to 30% of the total amount and any cancellation insurance shall be made within 7 days. The second payment shall be made no later than six weeks before departure.

If you pay in two installments, you will receive an email with a reminder to pay the second installment one week before its term expires. If you leave within six weeks, you must make payment in one installment. When leaving within 14 days, you must make payment in one installment via credit card or PayPal.
