The property offers a perfect base for exploring the local amenities and the stunning surrounding countryside. Inside, the open-plan kitchen and dining area feature modern marble work surfaces, a central island, and charming exposed brick accents, blending contemporary comfort with rustic character. The fully equipped kitchen is ideal for preparing meals, while nearby restaurants and takeaways provide additional dining options.

The ground floor boasts a large living room and snug area with a TV, log burner, and ample comfortable seating, creating a cozy space for relaxation, games, and family bonding. A bathroom with a shower and WC is conveniently located on this level. Upstairs, the four bedrooms include a flexible queen-size room (which can be made into two singles upon request), a king-size, a double, and a twin, accommodating various sleeping arrangements for guests.

Outside, guests can enjoy the local scene, with The Star Inn offering real ales and hearty meals, and Merchants Yard serving locally sourced dishes—reservations recommended due to its popularity. The surrounding towns of Buxton, Bakewell, and Matlock are easily accessible, featuring attractions like Buxton’s Opera House, Bakewell’s famous tarts, and Matlock’s Baths. Payment terms and -periods

A deposit equivalent to 30% of the total amount and any cancellation insurance shall be made within 7 days. The second payment shall be made no later than six weeks before departure.

If you pay in two installments, you will receive an email with a reminder to pay the second installment one week before its term expires. If you leave within six weeks, you must make payment in one installment. When leaving within 14 days, you must make payment in one installment via credit card or PayPal.
