Villa Livia is a detached natural stone villa with pool and panoramic views of the surrounding vineyards and hills.
The house is situated on the hillside, on the edge of a small village called Sovinjak, between the two medieval towns of Buzet and Motovun, in the centre of Istria's truffle region.
The enchanting landscape, tranquillity and unspoilt nature are ideal for families and friends seeking relaxation from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Due to its location in the centre of Istria, the villa is an ideal starting point for exploring the whole of Istria, which is famous for its excellent wines, olive oils, white truffles and gourmet restaurants.
PLEASE NOTE THAT NO YOUTH GROUPS ARE ALLOWED!
Only high-quality materials were used in the construction of the villa: Handcrafted stone, antique building materials, wooden windows, shutters and doors, oak and natural stone floors, luxurious bathrooms, underfloor heating. No expense or effort was spared when it came to the interior design, which is both tasteful and practical.

Location description : Sovinjak is situated on a hill above the Mirna valley and can be reached from the Motovun-Buzet road via a small bridge over the Mirna. Once at the top, you have a breathtaking 360° view, and in the village is the parish church of St George from 1927, which was built on the site of an earlier church from 1556. Next to it is the 15 metre high bell tower from 1557 with a Glagolitic inscription and the Gothic church of St. Rochus with frescoes from the 15th century.the appearance of Sovinjak dates back to the time of the ancient Romans.the Roman castrum "Castellum Pucinum" was located here. The famous Pucinum wine, which comes from this area, was even served at the Roman imperial court. According to legend, Livia Drusilla, the wife of Emperor Augustus and the mother of Emperor Tiberius, drank only this wine. You won't find the Pucinum wine variety today, but there are other top wines, and apart from top wines, the immediate surroundings are known for olive oil, white truffles and gourmet restaurants. The countryside between Buzet and Motovun is the "home" of the white truffle.

Payment terms and -periods
