The holiday home for 11 persons has four bathrooms and four bedrooms. The holiday home is equipped with a fireplace. The island is connected by a bridge and is accessible by car. The house is divided into 2 separate residential units and is ideal for 2 families who want to holiday together. The property also includes a separate sauna house and a garage.

Thanks to the sheltered location of the bay, the water temperature in summer/autumn is a warm 20-24 degrees. Ideal for water sports such as canoeing, stand-up paddling, boating, fishing etc. Boats, canoes and stand-up paddles can be hired for an extra charge. In addition, the small beach invites you to swim and bathe.

The veranda invites you to linger in the hammock and marvel at the marvellous nature. There are 2 large picnic tables in the garden, where up to 16 people can dine with a marvellous panoramic view. The catch of the day can be grilled on the barbecue. On the island you can watch seals, lobsters, fish, deer, hares, sea eagles, squirrels, porcupines and there is a hummingbird feeder on the terrace.

There is also a fire pit where you can tell stories or sing with family and friends in the evening.

Inside the house, on a rainy day, you can cosy up on the sofa by the fireplace with a good book and a glass of wine or a visit to the sauna.

Shopping facilities in the village or in Halifax, which is only 25 minutes away. The airport is 50 minutes away. Restaurants in the village and surrounding area. West Dover is an ideal base for many excursions and places of interest (e.g. Peggy's Cove lighthouse is 5 minutes away by car) and there are also many beautiful walks in the area.

After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
