The holiday home for 20 persons has a bathroom and nine bedrooms. The holiday home is equipped with a television, a DVD player, a central heating, a fireplace and a CD player. In addition there is a barbecue, a garden, garden furniture and a terrace. You can park your car on a parking lot.

The holiday home has a tumble dryer, a Internet connection, a freezer, a fridge and a washing machine.

Children

Especially for (young) children, there is a high chair and a cot.

This accommodation is situated in Medendorf, a charming village nestled at an elevation of 560 meters within the Belgian-German Hoge Venen-Eifel Nature Park. It offers a peaceful and serene atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. The garden features a large south-facing terrace, providing a stunning view of the nearby villages stretching from the Our Valley to the Snow Eiffel. Located on the edge of the expansive Ommerwald, the property gives direct access to hiking and biking trails through the surrounding natural landscape. The area around Medendorf is rich in hiking, cycling, and mountain biking routes. You can explore marked trails such as the GR56 or bike routes connecting cities like Amsterdam, Rome, Trier, Tilburg, and Maastricht. For mountain biking enthusiasts, there is a regional network with 850 km of trails, and road cyclists can enjoy the 850 km bicycle hub network. Adventurers will find plenty of exciting opportunities. This recently renovated, detached house accommodates up to 20 guests and includes its own parking area. The property features one bedroom with two bunk beds (sleeping four persons) and eight bedrooms for two persons each. All bedrooms are equipped with a sink that provides both hot and cold water. One bedroom also has a private bathroom with a shower and toilet, while the other rooms share 3 showers with thermostat-controlled taps and 3 toilets located in the hallway. Additionally, there is a separate bathroom with a shower and toilet designed for wheelchair accessibility.

The spacious 95 m² living area, with underfloor heating, consists of an open kitchen, a large dining space, and a generously sized living room with comfortable sofas and chairs arranged around a fireplace. The living room is equipped with a TV, VCR, DVD player, stereo, and a children's play corner. The kitchen includes 2 refrigerators, freezers, a microwave, a large 5-burner stove with oven, and other necessary kitchenware. If you prefer not to cook, meals can be arranged for delivery.

Outside, there is a large south-facing terrace (approximately 100 m²) with a barbecue. In front of the terrace, children can enjoy playground equipment. To the left of the terrace, there is a second grassy area, ideal for volleyball or badminton. On the opposite side of the building, a 1500 m² meadow offers ample space for additional activities. All rooms are on the ground floor, with no door thresholds, making the house highly accessible for wheelchair users.

Medendorf, which has no more than 15 houses and farms, is located in the Belgian-German nature park of Hoge vein-Eifel, an unspoiled area with numerous hiking and mountain bike routes. Due to its high altitude, you will find many rivers, including the Warche, Amblève, and Our. Canoes can be rented at the lakes of Robertville and Bütgenbach, and here you will also find many swimming pools and water sports activities - ideal for children! For trips, there are numerous possibilities. For example, there are the lively towns of Malmédy and St. Vith; the waterfalls of Coo; and the caves of Rémouchamps. Directly across the border, in Germany, you can visit the zoo of Hellenthal; swim at Vulkamar; and tour picturesque towns like Monschau and Kronenburg, the latter with ancient castle ruins. A little further away you will find the cities of Aachen and Cologne; Phantasialand amusement park; various lakes and small volcanic peaks of the Eiffel; the ancient Roman city of Trier ad Mosel; and Luxembourg.

On 5 kilometer of Oberes Ourtal Lodge you will find one or more restaurants. In addition, there is a lake/open water less than 1 kilometer. You can shop in Büllingen on 5 kilometer from your holiday home. There is also a mall nearby, in 5 kilometer. Want even more activities? Payment terms and -periods

The initial deposit is 30% of the rent and any covered insurance. The second payment must be paid no later than six weeks before you leave. If you leave within nine weeks, you must pay the full amount in one installment.
