The Zillertal narrows, the mountains draw closer and the air buzzes with excitement. Welcome to Mayrhofen (633m above sea level), arguably the liveliest town in the Zillertal. This is where people live and meet up for skiing, après-ski and shopping. The ski bus runs within the village itself, as the valley stations for the Penken and Ahorn cable cars are located in the village centre. Welcome to the ski circus!

Nearby activities: 159 kilometres of slopes, 100 per cent covered by artificial snow, await all skiers and snowboarders in the Mayrhofen
(Penken – Ahorn) ski area. From easy to medium to difficult, you’ll find a wide variety of runs on offer. The steepest run is definitely the black ‘Harakiri’, with a gradient of up to 78 per cent. There’s plenty of a lively atmosphere in the 28 ski huts and numerous snow bars. Mayrhofen is also home to a well-known ski tour – the ‘Höhenmeter-Fresser-Runde’, where you receive a certificate after covering 13,000 metres of elevation gain. Down in the valley, the classics of the après-ski scene await, such as the Brückenstadl, the Yeti Bar and the legendary Ice Bar.

Payment terms and -periods

A deposit equivalent to 30% of the total amount and any cancellation insurance shall be made within 7 days. The second payment shall be made no later than six weeks before departure.

If you pay in two installments, you will receive an email with a reminder to pay the second installment one week before its term expires. If you leave within six weeks, you must make payment in one installment. When leaving within 14 days, you must make payment in one installment via credit card or PayPal.
