Our holiday home is located at the gateway to the Wachau and is the perfect starting point for many different excursions to the surrounding castles, fortresses and the famous Melk Abbey as well as for numerous sporting activities with your children and your four-legged friend.the Wachau- Nibelungengau valley can proudly call itself child and dog friendly, on many Danube beaches there are playgrounds and extra dog zones or there are wonderful natural beaches.The nearest beach in the village, which is 500 metres away, offers pedal boats for hire, a playground, volleyball court, a water trampoline and two pubs as well as a large dog area. directly opposite the front door there is a forest, a cycle path and the Danube meadows, where you can take wonderful walks and cycle excursions. the Danube port of Emmersdorf, starting point for many boat trips, is only 2 villages away. We particularly recommend the Wachau boat trip, which allows you to take both bicycles and dogs on board. There are also many options for hiking, behind our small house is the Jakobsweg from which you can explore the castle Leiben, Maria Taferl and Artstetten. If you are looking for a little city air for a change, it is best to visit the cultural city of Krems surrounded by vineyards (30km) or the baroque city and provincial capital of Lower Austria St.Pölten (40km). TIP: Leiben Castle, Schallaburg Castle, Aggsstein Castle, Artstetten, Dürnstein Abbey, Göttweig Abbey and many other cultural treasures.

Our cosy 2-room flat can accommodate 2-4 people, it is also suitable for children and -or several dogs, it is located on the upper floor and is equipped with a small bathroom with an English bathtub and a small washing area. The bedroom has a four-poster bed, behind which there is a small alcove which can be partitioned off, with a bunk bed (ONLY) for children and various toys. In the living room there is a fold-out couch and a table with armchairs to sit together as well as an electric fireplace.this flat has direct access to the communal balcony with its own area.further units can be rented there is room for up to 8 people in the cottage. The small wellness area with sauna and infrared cabin can be used free of charge between 13 and 17.30. As a serviced flat house, we naturally offer bed linen, bath and hand towels, shampoo etc. In our small kitchen bars in the flats you will find washing-up liquid, sponge and tea towel. Towels for the beach can be borrowed if required, and there are toys for children and dogs in the house, as well as board games for the young at heart, and we also have two sizes of cots and extra beds for children, a folding changing table and a high chair for very young guests. We are happy to provide bowls and blankets for four-legged guests.
