In between the two world cities Vienna and Bratislava, in the oldest wine-growing area in Austria, Stillfried/Grub in the Weinviertel, nestled into a beautiful landscape and surrounded by vineyards, next to the March-Thaya-Auen nature reserve.
You will be sleeping in a 9000-litre wine barrel, with all the comfort you are accustomed to. The wine barrel suite has a wellness shower, a WC, seating, a fully-equipped kitchen for shared use. It doesn’t get cosier or more romantic than this. The adjoining room with a connecting door has a further bedroom with a comfortable bed, wellness shower, WC and generous seating. This is suitable either for children or a second couple.
There is an 800m² vineyard garden with seating, where you can enjoy the quality wine produced on site. The suite faces south-west, so you have sunshine in the afternoon that you can really enjoy on the larch decking.

You can experience life on the wine-growing estate directly and authentically and take part in wine tasting in the 300-year-old cellar vault. In the morning you can enjoy breakfast in the light “Weinviertler Stubn”. It is an ideal hiking and cycling area, characterised by many castles. There are ideal shopping facilities in Vienna (30km away) and Bratislava (40km away).
